@waxwing try also blixtwallet.com that have contact list option too
@raw_avocado and I played around a bit with this; seems bluewallet, phoenix and breez can all pay to it fine - but! you have to literally paste the address from the clipboard in the last two, and that or enter by hand in the 'invoice' field for the first - an extremely janky UI really. But otoh, it actually works extremely smoothly!
well... that was hard!
(1) static DNS A record (that part was kinda obvious for a VPS i guess)
(2) manual setup as described here:
(3) apart from just restarting the instance, setting up the Lightning Address (which was my goal) via store->settings->enable lnurl, then "Integrations" let me set a "waxwing" address.
Now I can send sats with BlueWallet to firstname.lastname@example.org
(not onion). Wasn't obvious!

The great thing about mining Bitcoin is that I'm BTFD all the time. 😀
The bad thing about mining Bitcoin is that I'm BTFD all the time and don't have any fiat left to BTFD even more because I've got to pay the electric bill. 🙁
Just a bitcoin lizard trying to gobble up some sats.
This server was setup as a means to decentralize the Bitcoin social networking community in a small way. I came from bitcoinhackers.org. The administrator there felt that the users should create their own Mastodon instances to keep the community decentralized so I created this instance.
